How to play
  1. Fill the whole grid with rectangles (patches). They can't overlap.
  2. Every patch holds exactly one clue, and every square belongs to one patch.
  3. Drag across the squares to draw a patch — you can start on the clue and stretch out to either side, or drag from the clue again later to grow its patch. Tap a patch to remove it.

Every clue's tile shows the shape of its patch. If it also shows a number, the patch must cover exactly that many squares; if not, you work out the size.

Drag to draw · tap a patch to remove it · keys: arrows move, Enter on two corners draws, Delete removes, U undo, H hint

About Quilt Puzzle

Quilt Puzzle turns a blank grid into a patchwork quilt, one rectangle at a time. Each coloured clue belongs to exactly one patch. The shape of each clue tile tells you whether its patch is a square, a tall rectangle or a wide one, and some clues also show how many squares the patch covers, so for the rest you work out the size from the patches around it. Drag across the grid to stitch a patch and tap one to unpick it. The quilt is finished when every square is covered and every clue is happy. Each board is freshly generated and checked to have one answer you can reach by reasoning alone. Start on a friendly 5×5, move up to 6×6 and the tricky 8×8, or try the shared Daily quilt. It builds area, multiplication and spatial-planning skills for players aged 8 and up.
